EDUCATION OUTREACH

The Dolphin Project volunteers facilitate many educational events and programs throughout the year. Check our calendar for dates.

TDP hosts displays at events and festivals such as the Georgia State/Armstrong U. Browse, SkIO Citizen Science Workshop, Conservation Day at the GA Capital, Atlanta Science Festival, Jekyll Shellabration, Savannah Earth Day, , GA-DNR Coastfest, SkIO Marine Science Day, Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival, Chattahoochee Nature Club, Hands Across the Sands, Coastal Georgia Symposium, Richmond Hill Christmas Parade, and others.

TDP also offers entertaining and educational age-appropriate programs to schools and student groups. We LOVE talking with kids! We participate in STEM and STEAM events at schools like Heard Elementary, Garrison Elementary, Coastal Middle School, St. Andrews School, Gould Elementary, Lyman Hall Elementary, May Howard Elementary, Habersham High School, Richmond Hill Middle School, Richmond Hill High School, Godley Station Middle School and others.

We're also available for community organizations that are looking for speakers such as Rotaries, PEO-Savannah, Coastal Conservation Association, Roswell Women's Club, the Landings Sunset Sips, Coastal Discovery Museum, Church groups, JEA, Shipyard Women's Club, Sun City Boat & RV Club, Sun City Fish & Hunt Club, AASU Anthropology Club, Country Club of Hilton Head, Garden Clubs, etc. Stipends/donations are appreciated.
