The College of Coastal Georgia will be hosting its annual Coastal Science Symposium.

The annual event brings together students, faculty, collaborators, and community members to explore coastal and marine research, management, conservation, and more!

This year’s keynote speaker is Indie Lewis, the Capacity Building and Training Lead for White Oak Conservation in Yulee, FL. White Oak is a state-of-the-art scientific education and conservation center focused on saving and recovering populations of rare species, building assurance populations, researching animal health, convening experts, and educating the next generation of conservation experts.

The symposium features the work of Coastal Georgia students, who will present posters on their research and experiential learning in biology and environmental science. Community partners will also provide educational exhibits and opportunities to get involved in science and conservation on the Georgia coast and beyond.

The symposium is free and open to the public – no registration is necessary.  However, if you would like to help hosting The Dolphin Project display, please register here.
